We want to welcome as many children and young people as possible to the Convention. At the moment, some groups have short waiting lists. If your child is on a waiting list and a space comes up, you will automatically get an email. You don’t need to do anything else, and places will be allocated in queue order. If you want to add your child to a group with a waiting list, you can do that too.

Between now and Easter, our team of staff and wonderful volunteer leaders will work on increasing capacity in groups with waiting lists. Our hope is to accommodate everyone who wants to come. We will post updates here and share them on social media too (follow us on Facebook or Instagram).

If you have a question which isn’t covered here, you can contact us on info@keswickministries.org

Our children’s and youth ministry exists to faithfully share God’s word in a fun, caring and safe environment. We’d love for every child and young person who comes to the Keswick Convention to grow in their knowledge of Jesus and experience his love for them, all while having great fun and making new friendships.

Our groups follow the same Bible passages and themes as the adult programme, so that families can learn together and parents can continue the conversation at home. We hope it’s something the whole family can share in.

Registration

The Keswick Convention is free and open to all, but advance registration is required for 3-18 year olds attending Kids & Youth groups.

Registration for Keswick Convention 2026 Kids and Youth groups will open at 10am on 21 February 2026.

Please read the instructions below for information on how to register – some tasks such as creating an account and adding or updating family details can be done in advance of registration opening.

Registration Instructions

1. Go to the registration page

2. Create / Update Your Account

To register, create an account with your family details. If you already have an account from last year, you will need to log in with the same details and update your family information.

3. Register for Groups

Register your children for the Convention week you are planning to attend.

Spaces are limited so that we can provide the best possible experience for those attending in a safe environment.

4. Children with Additional Needs

Register your children as usual for their relevant age group. You will then be able to add detail to your child’s record. Our Additional Needs Team may get in touch with you to discuss.

5. Waiting Lists

If your child is added to a waiting list, please be patient. We have a certain capacity for each group to ensure that children are safe and have the best experience at the Convention. Our team will work to increase the capacity of groups where possible, and you will be notified by email if a place becomes available.

Please only contact our team for support rather than waiting list enquiries.

What to expect

We have groups for children and young people aged 3–18, and each group enjoys a mix of games, activities, singing and times of prayer. At the heart of our programme is the small group — every child and young person is placed in a small group led by one of our trained and caring team leaders. Small groups are where friendships are made, questions get asked, and the teaching really comes to life.

Morning

The morning programme runs alongside the main venue, so the whole family can be in the right place at the right time. There’s something for everyone, from our youngest children right through to our oldest youth.

Evening

The evening sessions are for children and young people aged 8 and over. The youth and children gather back in their main venues for a vibrant evening of singing, games, discussion and accessible Bible teaching.

Late Nite

For young people aged 11–18, Late Nite is the highlight of the day! Expect a fun-filled hour of games, music, special guests and plenty more.

Crèche (0-3s)

For our youngest attendees, the Crèche is a wonderful space for parents & carers to stay with their little ones during the Morning Bible Readings and Evening Celebrations.

A relay of the Morning Bible Readings and Evening Celebrations will be available in the room and our Creche team are on hand to offer a cuppa or a listening ear.

Crèche Opening Times:

  • Morning Bible Readings (Monday – Friday 11:15am – 1:00pm)
  • Evening Celebrations (Saturday – Friday 7:15pm – 9:00pm)
  • Keswick Lecture (Wednesday 9:30am – 10:30am)

Baby changing facilities are available.

Ages 3 - 11

Each morning (and evening for those aged 8–11) we have a great programme with exciting Bible teaching that we pray will help the children to know and love our great God!

Our children’s groups cater for ages 3–11 across four age groups, 3–4s, 4–5s, 6–7s, 8–11s. Whether it’s gentle play and simple Bible teaching for our youngest ones, or lively discussion and hands-on activities for our older children, every group is designed to be fun, engaging and age appropriate. Whatever their age, children are encouraged to explore the Bible, ask questions, and discover more about Jesus in a safe and caring environment.

Additional Needs Guides for Parents

Ages 11 - 18

Come and be challenged by God’s word and have fun with friends all in the amazing surrounding of the Lake District. If you’re aged between 11 and 18, then Keswick Youth is for you!

Our youth groups cater for young people aged 11–18, across three age ranges: 11–13, 14–16 and 17+. Each group gives young people the chance to dig into the Bible together, ask the big questions, and have conversations about faith in a fun and relaxed setting. With their own small groups and experienced team leaders, we want every young person to feel known, included and genuinely engaged with what they’re learning. Whether just exploring the Christian faith, or wanting to grow as a Christian, you are welcome! It’s a great chance to meet others at a similar stage of life and to discuss the Bible together.

Kids and Youth Additional Needs and Disability Provision

We want children and young people to learn about Jesus, have fun, be safe, and build lasting relationships.

To make sure these groups are suitable for your child, a few things to note:
  • The numbers in any one age group can range from 80 to 300 with Weeks 2 and 3 larger than Week 1.
  • Groups can be loud and noisy and we’re aware it can be overwhelming for some.

To support your family, we can provide the following:
  • The Disability & Additional Needs Advisor for Keswick Ministries will be available each week and can be contacted if you would like to discuss your visit.
  • We have an Additional Needs Coordinator for Kids & Youth along with a small volunteer team for children and youth who may need some extra support.
  • There is a “Quieter Area” in the Youth Venues for those who may need to step away for a moment.
  • There are small tents with some sensory toys in each of the Kids’ Venues.
  • We cannot provide any 1:1 provision, though please speak to us if your child needs this in order to access the programme.
  • While we don’t have a separate SEND stream, our additional needs team (or age group team) are there to help make reasonable adjustments so children can access their age group sessions. In order for us to do this please declare any additional needs at registration (even if not diagnosed) so that the Additional Needs Team leader can be in contact to discuss access arrangements if required.
  • A Welcome session for those who would appreciate a “first look” each Sunday afternoon including a guided tour and chance to get your wristbands.
  • A Family Meet-up each week for parents and carers who have children and young people who have additional needs or disabilities, with activities available for the children.

The provision we make through our wonderful volunteers is growing, developing and under constant review. We always welcome dialogue with parents/carers as we strive in partnership with you seeking the best for all children.
