Keswick Convention 2026: Strong In His Strength

“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against… the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” —Ephesians 6.12

We stand firm, cleansed and clothed in Jesus’ righteousness, safe in him forever by his grace. We yearn for the day we will see him face-to-face with unhindered joy.

But until that day, we fight. We fight against the world, the flesh and the devil. We resist the evil one, who loves to exploit our weak spots, who blinds the eyes of non-Christians, and clouds our sight.

We the Church stand in the armour of God, defensively resisting the devil and offensively proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. Satan is powerful, but he is defeated. We rejoice that the battle has been won in Christ, but the fight for us goes on. Daily.

How then shall we stand? How will we resist the devil’s schemes in every walk of life? How can we fill our gaze with who our God is, and all he has done for us in Christ, so that the Accuser’s lies and forgeries become obvious?

Join with thousands of Christian believers in the beautiful Lake District to explore what it means to be “Strong in his strength”, able to live boldly for Christ in the days he’s given us.

We do this by writing fresh new songs of the Word, and training churches in biblical music ministry. Drawing from our UK and Australian teams, our band is led by Alanna Glover and Philip Percival. Alanna is married to Rohan and has three small children. Philip, also with three (somewhat larger) children is married to Kate. Joyful Noise

Joyful Noise is a collective that exists to write songs from the Word, to the heart, and for the church. We are made up of writers, musicians and pastors who are committed to equipping the church with songs that are lyrically rich, engage people’s hearts and minds, and that are usable by ordinary churches. Joyful Noise began during the first Covid-19 lockdown in the UK, bringing together a small team to record an EP (Come People of God) entirely remotely. After the positive reception of those songs, work began on a second EP (No Other Saviour) which was released in 2022. Joyful Noise have also had the privilege of leading sung worship at conferences such as Word Alive and Growing Young Disciples.
