Recovering Real Recreation
We aim to keep afternoons clear during Convention so you can reflect and enjoy all the lake district has to offer. There is a concert each Wednesday evening and a few receptions for particular groups on site in the afternoon for those looking for something more.
There is also plenty of time in the afternoons to explore the beautiful surroundings of Keswick and the Lake District.

Enhancing your Workplace Witness. Ministry in everyday work is much more than verbal witness but for many it’s the area they feel least confident in. The key is to build trusting relationships. And critical that is the ability to make the most of everyday conversations that are ‘full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone’ (Colossians 4:6). Come explore some simple ways to do that and share challenges and ideas with others in your sector.
Come and hear what your brothers and sisters in Russia are doing to increase His Kingdom! Despite the difficult international relations, we are called to love His church, which includes Christ followers in Russia. Because of our partnership, their deep compassion and God’s transformative power, the lives of addicts, the homeless, orphans, and people escaping domestic violence are able to experience complete healing and a new life in Christ.

The course aims to empower Christians to engage actively in God’s mission locally and globally. Learn more at UnderstandingMission.org.

Churches and mission organisations are increasingly aware of the need for sustainable ministry based on this basic principle. One organisation which champions this principle is Life In Abundance, an African-founded Christian organisation started by Dr. Florence Muindi thirty years ago.
Dr. Florence and Dr. Charlie are delighted to be at Keswick this year, where they will be discussing ‘Teach a Man to Fish’, and sharing real-life stories from their own experiences, demonstrating how God has enabled sustainable transformation to take place in communities across Africa, the Caribbean and beyond….
Join us for some fun in the sun (or Keswick rain!) as we celebrate Keswick Ministries’ 150th birthday!

The theme for the Convention this year is Transformed to help us consider the ways that we have been, will be and are being Transformed by Christ and his Spirit. In 19-24s, we’ll particularly focus on the ways that we are being made more like Christ, through the transforming work of the Spirit.
In these sessions we’ll be focussing on the Fruit of the Spirit (as listed in Galatians 5), and thinking through what it looks like to cultivate and display that fruit in our lives.
Monday – Introduction to the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5)
We’ll begin the week with an introduction to the idea of the fruit of the Spirit, and in particular, the fact that it is fruit and not ‘fruits’! Spiritual fruit and spiritual gifts are not the same – we shouldn’t expect that one of us will have love, and another gentleness, and so on, but rather, that each of us has been given all of the fruit, as each of us has received the Spirit.
Tuesday – Love, Joy and Peace
Working through what Paul meant by the words ‘love’, ‘joy’ and ‘peace’, and considering how they ought to be seen and lived out in our work/studies, friendships and family, romantic relationships, church life, and evangelism.
Wednesday – Keswick Lecture (Main Tent)
We will join the Keswick Lecture in the Main Tent.
Thursday – Patience, Kindness, Goodness
Working through what Paul meant by the words ‘patience’, ‘kindness’ and ‘goodness’, and considering how they ought to be seen and lived out in our work/studies, friendships and family, romantic relationships, church life, and evangelism.
Friday – Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control
Working through what Paul meant by the words ‘faithfulness’, ‘gentleness’ and ‘self-control’, and considering how they ought to be seen and lived out in our work/studies, friendships and family, romantic relationships, church life, and evangelism.
Whether you’ve come to Keswick as part of a group, or you’re here on your own, we’d love to help you create community this week! Socials will take place each weekday afternoon – check the Instagram @keswick_19-24s for more info!
