When attending my first Keswick Convention in 1969 I well remember Eric J Alexander’s very challenging preaching on the Saturday night and. if memory serves, J Alec Motyer opening the book of Amos for us during the Bible Readings. During the week, on the 20th July came the news that Neil Armstrong had walked on the moon. The effect on us young people was excitement with some unbelief. I have attended in part or whole a great many conventions since especially over the last 25 years and am blessed at every one. May the Lord continue to have his hand on it.
