Hailing from Penicuik, pianist Graham McDonald is passionate about music education, teaching music in a local secondary school and directing the Pentland School of Music which he founded in 2018. He is in demand as a solo recitalist, accompanist, ensemble player and collaborator, performing in numerous venues across the country.
Graham is also a keen composer and improviser, collaborating with different artists and regularly improvising for silent cinema, working at times with a local filmmaker. Loving all things piano, he also spends a fair amount of time tuning and restoring them as well! Graham continues to lead/support worship in the local church and is married to Katrina with four grown-up children.
