I became a Christian through the faithful witness of my parents and Church family which led me to make a personal commitment to Christ in my early teens. My faith really grew however, during my university years and early twenties through discipleship of friends and mentors.
A school friend brought me along to the Convention in my teens and I have enjoyed coming along ever since. The rich Bible teaching and fellowship through the Convention is wonderful to experience, especially in my own home county.
My favourite Bible verse is Psalm 19:14, ‘May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.’
