Seeing Christianity modelled by my parents and hearing the Christmas story afresh as a teenager was how God brought me to faith. I love many things about Keswick Ministries – the history, the legacy, and the fact that God is at work. Perhaps the greatest thrill is being in the main tent with a huge crowd of people eager to worship God and hear from him. It is a brief glimpse of heaven! Each time I come to Keswick I look forward to going down to the lake – the calm majesty of it is good for the soul!
My favourite Bible verse is Hebrews 13:20-21: “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
