A conversation about art, faith and the Bible hosted by Alastair Gordon, Ruth Naomi Floyd, Ted Turnau and special guests.
Art of the Bible and the Bible as art. Join the KU team as we look at God’s Word through the lens of the creative arts. Taking a different Bible passage each evening, we’ll see how God’s Word has inspired artists and continues to speak through music, poetry and art. Expect live music, art, spoken word, interviews and Bible teaching from artists.
The Unconventional team will be taking part in the Evening Celebration on Wednesday in the Main Tent.
Join Ruth Naomi Floyd, Alastair Gordon, Ted Turnau and friends as they reflect on Eph 2 through music, words and art.
We will explore some of Paul’s teaching about understanding our lives as a story, stories that will ultimately have a happy ending, but also take us through hard and uncharted territory.
The dramedy Stranger Than Fiction (2006) can help us here. It’s about a man who learns that he’s a character in someone else’s novel.
Ruth Naomi Floyd, Alastair Gordon and Ted Turnau invite KU guests to reflect on Phil 2 with music, words and art.
We will explore a series of paintings by figurative realist painter Lee Price, and how they illuminate some teachings on Paul why not to be discouraged in our own walks with the Lord.
Ruth, Ally and friends reflect on John 15 through music, art and words.
As artistic beings, we look, see, explore, and discover themes of what it means to be human in this world. But observation is different from bearing witness. To bear witness requires much more. Our art should bear witness to what this life brings.
Ruth, Ally and KU guests reflect on Genesis 1: 26-28 through music, art and words.
As Christian and artists, we believe in the beauty of Imago Dei. Our artmaking should bear witness to our love and respect for all humanity, even (especially) when crossing barriers that keep us apart.
Join James Cary and Rachel Redeemed for an hour of chat, comedy, guests, music, messing around and general theological tummy-tickling.

In addition to our art trail, we are pleased that artist Graham Oliver will be exhibiting pastel drawings in the KU venue.
Graham writes,
Artist Kaori Homma is back as a residency artist in 2023 following her “Sub-Rosa” exhibition at St. Johns Church in 2021. Contemplating the broader theme of Human, Homma will focus on the notion of Hidden, curating and organising a guided tour which will take the audience through a hidden art trail during Keswick Unconventional 2023.
