What Will I be Doing?
You will be:
warmly welcoming those attending
helping answer a wide variety of questions about the programme and venues
answering the phone and passing on messages
taking donations and payments for sundry merchandise and tickets
photocopying, laminating and other admin tasks
helping with some computer based tasks such as assisting parents with the registration of their children for their groups
joining in with daily team prayers
possibly supporting with other teams as needs arise
assisting with whatever is needed behind the scenes
What Skills and Experience do I Need?
You will need to:
have lots of enthusiasm for teamwork
have excellent communication skills
enjoy talking to people and be good at problem solving quickly
enjoy helping people with their enquiries
have physical strength for running errands as needed
have a good level of spoken English
be ready to support other teams if/when a need comes up
When and Where Will I be Working?
The day is split into three sessions – morning, afternoon and evening – and you will be allocated two sessions each day, on a rota basis. Morning sessions start at 8.45am, and evening sessions finish around 10pm
You will be based in Reception on site, although you may be sent on errands on occasion by office staff, as required.
You would be expected to arrive in time for a briefing meeting at lunchtime on Saturday and be on duty each day until departure the following Saturday morning.
