Pam Daunton, like many authors, loves reading. When teaching in primary school, she enjoyed sharing a novel, chapter by chapter, with her classes and believes there is something magical about where fiction allows us to go, particularly when a book is shared. The idea of writing Christian stories, which could be read in schools, seemed a natural step, allowing faith to be considered in a relaxed manner.
Pam is passionate about sharing the good news with families; in churches, in schools and in homes. Recently she has been appointed as a Canon of Blackburn Cathedral. Her book, The Dove Stone, is set in Lancashire in a time when the Romans have left but the Anglo-Saxons haven’t yet conquered; a story about a testing adventure which is only solved by prayer.
