Want to build community in your church? Join us with other members of your church for the Keswick Church Weekend Away in the heart of the Lake District.
We offer the opportunity for you to enjoy excellent Bible teaching, sung worship and a separate program for children.
We will provide a core programme, along with the time and space to share fellowship and enjoy the beautiful Lake District as a church family throughout the weekend.
Key Note Speaker - Martin Salter
Martin is married to Sarah and has three children. He loves Keswick and has been serving the Convention for almost 20 years. Martin is currently Lead Pastor at Grace Community Church, Bedford.
Worship Leader - Ben Slee
Ben is the Music Pastor at Christ Church Mayfair in London. He writes songs, articles and training resources for local church musicians and music leaders. He is married to Sarah and they have two children.
Weekend Details
The aim of the Keswick Weekend Away is to provide smaller churches (up to 60 people) with the opportunity to get away as a church without the worry of organising speakers, worship, kids groups and food. We want to take all that pressure off you to enable your church family to enjoy time together, hear great Bible teaching, meet other churches and take in the beauty of the Lake District.
Provided for you will be:
- Main Speaker
- Sung Worship Band
- Kids work (ages 5 – 11)
- Optional seminars on Saturday morning
- Catered meals on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday and refreshments throughout the weekend
- Creche area (unmanned)

Cost and Venue
The weekend will be held in Keswick Ministries Pencil Factory, in Keswick Cumbria. The cost per person is:
- Adults – £75
- 5-18’s – £30
- Under 5’s – Free
Meals included are lunch and an evening meal on Saturday, lunch on Sunday as well as refreshments throughout the weekend. Please note that all our food is bought in or prepared by a caterer. We are able to provide food for the following diets: dairy free, lactose intolerant, coeliac, gluten-free, vegetarian, and combinations of those. We will ask you to provide a list of dietary needs for your church.
Accommodation is not included and should be organised on an individual basis. There are plenty of bed and breakfasts, hostels, hotels and self-catering cottages to choose from in Keswick. There is also the option of camping!

Cancellation Policy
We understand that there may be situations in which you need to cancel your place. Cancellations made up to 7 days before the event will receive 90% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will receive 50% refund. Cancellations made on the day of the event will not receive a refund.
