Rhona and Stuart More

This photo belonged to my husband’s Auntie Katie (Catherine Dunnet) from Wick, Caithness. There’s a girl with a badge at the front near the right hand side. Auntie Katie is 2 rows behind with what looks like a woollen hat. I think it might be the 1930s?  She was only 4 foot 9 inches tall, but you can still see her.

She was born in 1903,  died in 1988 was a nurse in Scotland then California and then back to Caithness again.  She was a real prayer warrior, a very godly woman who was always cheerful and optimistic. She never married and latterly was also a very good friend to my minister and gave him spiritual encouragement.

We’re looking forward to this year’s Convention. This will be our 14th year as full time conventioneers, but have been at Keswick for part of the week since 1988.
