The Keswick Weekend 2026 smaller

United in Christ

It lifts your head to know you’re not alone.

To belong to Christ is to be in Christ. United to him. Loved and safe and at home in him. Forever.

But that’s not all. In him we’re united with countless other sisters and brothers. All one in Christ Jesus.

So you may feel isolated, but you’re never alone. The Church today may look fragmented, but at heart it is whole. Because it is the bride for whom Christ died. And one day he will have his hearts’ desire and rejoice over her with singing.

And that’s you. And me. Together.

So join us at The Keswick Weekend to be refreshed through God’s Word. To be refreshed in seeing who we are. And to go home with lifted heads, to live for Christ together, with renewed courage and passion and joy.

Key Note Speaker

Ray Ortlund

Ray is the President of Renewal Ministries, a Canon Theologian in The Anglican Church in North America, and a founding member of The Council of The Gospel Coalition. He founded Immanuel Church in Nashville, Tennessee, and upon retirement was named Pastor to Pastors. Ray has authored a number of books, including The Gospel: How the Church Portrays the Beauty of Christ and Marriage and the Mystery of the Gospel. His Ph.D. is from The University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Ray and his wife Jani have four children and fifteen grandchildren.

Worship Leader

Emu Music

Emu music exists to equip and encourage the church with biblical, beautiful and transformative singing. We do this by writing fresh new songs of the Word, and training churches in biblical music ministry.

Drawing from our UK and Australian teams, our band is led by Alanna Glover and Philip Percival. Alanna is married to Rohan and has three small children. Philip, also with three (somewhat larger) children is married to Kate. They are both song writers and they teach music ministry at conferences and Bible colleges in the UK, Australia and Asia. They also co-wrote the Word In Song online course for church musicians and leaders.

Evening Celebration Speakers

Alasdair Paine

Andy Acheson

Mark Ellis

Alasdair in the vicar of St Andrew the Great, a church in the centre of Cambridge. He previously served at St Leonard’s Church in Exeter and Christ Church Westbourne in Bournemouth. Before training for the ministry, he was a senior scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge and head of geography at Eton College.

Andy has been the Minister of St Anne’s Church (Grantham) since summer 2023, a church revitalisation project within Lincoln Diocese. At the Keswick Convention Andy heads up the Youth Ministry in Week 1 and has taken the all-age services in the main tent for many years. He is married to Katie, with three daughters, and a very soppy cocker spaniel. Andy has served the church in Northern Ireland, Sheffield, Dorset and London in various capacities. He loves to talk and sing about how good Jesus is, and how his light and love bring hope to this world.

Mark has been involved in cross-cultural ministry in Asia, in student ministry, in church planting, and in local church pastoral ministry. Now working with Keswick Ministries, he longs to see believers’ hearts melted as they draw closer to Christ; delighting in and serving him joyfully as they in turn are refreshed in him.

Seminar Speakers

Alice Cornes

Mark Greene

Phil & Ros Boydell

Alice has been working for her church in Toxteth (Liverpool) since 2013. She loves teaching the Bible, mostly to adults but a couple of times a week to some wonderful, rowdy primary school children! Despite being an adopted scouser, she’s failed miserably at picking up the accent.

Ex-New York adman, ex-LST Vice-Principal, Mark is the Mission Champion at LICC. A pioneer of workplace ministry and everyday whole-life discipleship, his books include Thank God it’s Monday, Making Disciples for the Workplace, Fruitfulness on the Frontline, and The Servant Queen and the King She Serves. A film fan, Mark does a reasonable imitation of Mr Bean and a terrible one of Sean Connery. His wife Katriina wishes it were the other way round. His three adult children wish he wouldn’t do either.

Phil and Rosalyn grew up in Yorkshire, but for the last thirty years Scotland has been their home. They met the Navigators as students in Edinburgh in the late 90s where the vision of God using our everyday relationships for his Kingdom purposes grasped them. They now oversee the work of the Navs in the UK, Phil being the National Director. Phil and Rosalyn have three daughters, ages from mid-teens to early twenties, and live in Stirling.

Children & Young People at The Keswick Weekend

Children and young people  are a central part of the Keswick Weekend. Across the weekend, our children’s and youth programmes will offer an exciting mix of fun, Bible teaching, crafts and games. These are all shaped around the central teaching from the main venue.

Age Groups

We provide five groups for children and young people aged 4-18:

Kids (4-6)

Reception to Year 2

Kids (7-11)

Year 3 to Year 6

Youth (11-13)

Year 7 to Year 8

Youth (14-15)

Year 9 to Year 10

Youth+ (16-18)

Year 11 to Year 13

Programme & Timings

The timing of the children’s and youth groups has been carefully planned to be engaging, encouraging, and fun, while enabling parents and carers to attend the main sessions throughout the weekend.

Our Team

All our leaders are DBS checked and experienced in working with children and young people.

Crèche

For our youngest attendees, we offer a crèche for children not yet in school, where parental supervision is required. This will be from 9.:30am throughout the morning sessions and from 7:00pm for the evening session. On Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am a Crèche Lead will run a session for the children. This includes singing, simple crafts, and opportunities to hear Bible stories in a safe and caring environment.

A relay of the Morning Bible Readings and Evening Celebrations will be available.

And More ...

“Don’t it Blow your Mind?” with DumbRocks

Tune up your air guitar and get ready have your mind blown!
Live Music. Fun Games. Jesus (yay!). Songs (yes, with actions). Red v Blue.  Win a Prize. Bring Mum. Or Dad. Or Both. Cheer yourself hoarse. More Songs.  More Games. More Prizes. More Jesus (more yay!).

Jesus once said that if we were ever to stop declaring His praise, even the rocks would cry out! Jeremy Smith is determined not to let that happen!

His irresistibly catchy songs are ones the whole family will enjoy. He shares, “My goal was to create music that, when the kids ask to play it yet again from the backseat, mum and dad are genuinely delighted!”  And that works both ways!  Rich in bible truths, his songs are crafted so that God’s Word becomes memorable, clear, and – he hopes – put into practice.

“Come One Come All” is the newest album on that mission, equipping individuals of all ages to keep on singing praises to Jesus.  And as a result, keeping those rocks silent — DumbRocks!

Emu Concert

“Let  the word of God dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16

At the end of a day filled with God’s word, good teaching and fellowship together, join Emu Music for a time of powerful singing, celebration and thankfulness.

God the Bible and Everything (in 60 minutes) with James Cary

What is God the Bible and Everything (in 60 minutes)?

In God, the Bible and Everything, BBC comedy writer and ‘stand-up theologian’ James Cary explains the whole Bible, in one hour, with jokes and a big screen. And a song that you probably already know.

In this fast-moving show, written and developed for audiences of all ages, all faiths and none, James Cary shows how familiar Bible stories still in our culture like Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark, the Tower of Babel, David and Goliath and Jesus all fit together. Can he really get through all that in 60 minutes? It will be fun finding out!

James Cary is an extremely experienced comedy writer, with a track record of making audiences laugh out loud. That’s been his job for 20 years, writing episodes of Miranda, My Family, My Hero and Citizen Khan for BBC TV and Hut 33, Think the Unthinkable and Another Case of Milton Jones for BBC Radio 4 – all filmed in front of studio audiences.

James has combined his expertise in comedy and love of scripture in two books, The Gospel According to a Sitcom Writer and The Sacred Art of Joking (SPCK). He has also written stage shows that have delighted churches in the UK including A Monk’s Tale and The God Particle, as well as writing and performing his one-man show Water into Wine.

James has been performing for church audiences for over a decade, delighting congregations and guests all over the UK, as well as Christian festivals like the Keswick Convention and Spring Harvest. Click here to see James perform in front of c. 750 people at the Keswick Convention in 2023.
