Keswick Bible Workshop: Romans

January 21 2025 - January 22 2025

The Book of Romans

This 24-hour workshop, held in Keswick, is aimed to help you grow in your understanding and joy in God’s Word and we pray, in your love for Jesus. But fundamentally too, the workshop is to equip you to teach a book or portion of the Bible in your own context.

At this workshop we are looking forward to grappling with the book of Romans with Alasdair Paine, Vicar at St Andrew the Great, Cambridge.

The magnificent letter to the Romans has been of such value to God’s people down the centuries. But how, as preachers, can we approach such a large and detailed letter?  We will take a fresh look at Paul’s purpose in writing, and, having seen this, to look at how the letter works and how each part can be preached.  I trust we will find this personally nourishing and of real practical use to preachers.

The workshop will run over 24 hours, lunchtime to lunchtime, with sessions in the afternoon, evening and the following morning. There is no preparatory reading or assessment. This will be an intensive workshop, particularly intended for pastors, ministers, church planters or lay leaders but is open to anyone.

"At a Keswick Bible Workshop we hear God's Word, share in God's presence, encourage one another and grow in God's service."
