As a child, I went to Sunday School, but it wasn’t until I was in my mid-30s that I discovered what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. Since then I have been to churches local to where I lived. I moved back to Lincoln in 2013 and friends introduced me to the Keswick convention and immediately it became a special place. During lockdown I struggled with living on my own and working from home, I realised that although my current role was supporting people, I wanted a closer relationship with God and wanted to fulfil whatever plans he had for me, and I believe the role at Keswick Ministries is the start of His plans. Moving 200 miles North on my own should have scared me but I have felt peace about the decisions I have made, and prayers have been answered as seemingly difficult issues have been resolved.
The verse that I hold onto is Jeremiah 29:11 11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”
