I’m the Vicar of St Andrew the Great Church – also known as StAG – in Cambridge. Previously I served St Leonard’s Church in Exeter and Christ Church Westbourne, in Bournemouth.
It was also in Cambridge that I became a Christian, as a first-year student, through the witness of the Christian Union. I had been an atheist in my teens, but until real Christianity was explained to me, I hadn’t known what I’d been rejecting.
I’m married to Rachel and we have three grown-up children.
I love the fact that at Keswick we are all one in Christ Jesus, united by Him as we are nourished by the Bible.
I love the Lake District fells and relish afternoons to explore them, and catch up with friends.
My favourite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 3:16, since it shows why all the other verses in the Bible should be our favourites, too!
