I feel incredibly blessed to have been raised in a Christian family. Although I learned much about God in my early years, it wasn’t until I became a young adult that I came to know Him personally as my Saviour—through the persistent witness of friends and the faithful prayers of my family. Looking back, I can clearly see how His hand had guided and protected me throughout my life, even at times when I failed to recognise it.
It isn’t easy to pick a favourite scripture, however in this particular season of my life, Psalm 121 feels particularly appropriate. As I drive into work each day, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by the magnitude of the mountains surrounding the town of Keswick, and in turn to be overwhelmed by the love, kindness and protection of their maker, for which I am so thankful.
It feels very special to join the Keswick Ministries team in this momentous year as150 years of the Keswick Convention is celebrated. It is such a privilege to be involved in the team responsible for stewarding the Pencil Factory that has been graciously given by God through the sacrificial giving of generous supporters.
