Five generations of my family have attended the convention. My Grandparents and my Father first came in the 1930s (I still have the books of talks going back to 1938) My Father and his twin brother got a place in a convention house party and they shared a room with a young Tim Buckley. My parents first brought me in the 1960s. My Dad and I camped in Keswick for the centenary in 1975, but unfortunately, I was unwell with a high temperature, so we both missed hearing John Stott and Billy Graham that year! My son and daughter-in-law were part of the childrens and youth team, and my granddaughter has been 2 years in the creche! My Father took quite a few photos in the 1950s. Dad was a great “fan” of Dr Donald Grey Barnhouse. I attach photos of my grandparents (Harry and Mary Henderson) my father (Harry Henderson), Dr Barnhouse and (I think) Dr Alan Redpath. My family and I are grateful to God for having been introduced to the Convention by our forebears, and for the teaching and encouragement we still receive there.
