I started going to church when I was invited by a friend to my local church youth group. This was where God used those around me to draw me into His family and point me to a full life in knowing Jesus. It was during my time at university, being part of a church family and Christian Union, which really grew my faith through Christian fellowship and the support and wisdom of those working in ministry.
Volunteering at the Keswick Convention for many years, I have always been encouraged by the unity and passion which everyone has for serving one another and hearing God’s word. I love seeing a glimpse of the new creation at Convention when God’s people come together to worship Him. I am passionate about sharing the resource of Keswick Ministries, helping Christians worldwide to benefit from Convention and the year-round ministry.
One of my favourite passages – Psalm 121 – is very relevant in the beautiful surroundings of Keswick: ‘I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth…’
