Culture Uncovered: Cultural Engagement for Kids & Youth Ministry is a week-long intensive study course for those who are in full or part-time children’s and/or youth ministry.
The week will allow participants to delve deeply into the area of worldview and culture, consider how to engage with culture usefully for ministry amongst children and young people and also consider the role of the imagination in the spiritual formation of children.
Ted Turnau is an American, who works in Prague teaching cultural studies and religion. Ted’s primary area of interest is issues of popular culture, imagination, and how they relate to the Christian faith. Ted is married to Carolyn, has three children and two cats!
James Robson is Ministry Director for Keswick Ministries. Before joining the organisation, he served as Senior Tutor and Tutor in Old Testament and Hebrew at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Previously he taught at Oak Hill College, London. His most recent book was Honey from the Rock: Deuteronomy for the People of God. He is married to Bridget and has two daughters.
Mel is the executive director of Growing Young Disciples and the director of theology for children’s and youth ministry training at Oak Hill College, London. Mel also oversees the youth ministry at the Keswick Convention.
