Saturday 13 October
The core text for the course is based upon Jesus as He sought, trained and shaped His own disciples.
We join Jesus in Luke’s Gospel as He journeys toward Jerusalem.
We will spend time together in the company of the Master disciple-maker, the people He met on His journey and were touched by Him and some of the characters He created in His parables, to leave us lasting lessons on what it means to follow Him.
“I hope that everyone who joins us on the day will, on the way home, have a renewed delight in the Lord Jesus. Watching him, listening to him, learning from him is likely to be a tonic for every weary believer and certainly every worn out minister. I hope also that everyone who comes will go home with a fresh perspective on what discipleship making actually involves.” - Johnny Juckes
Our objective is to learn from Jesus, discovering freshly what discipleship involves as we follow in his footsteps. We will build on the foundations that Jesus laid down for His disciples to strengthen our love for Him, renew our loyalty to Him and help us lead others to follow Him.
