Author and actress Sophie Neville, who performed in the 1974 film Swallows and Amazons, will be giving a talk in Keswick during the Convention.

Sophie will be guest speaker at the Alhambra Cinema, on St John’s Street, on Saturday 28th July.

There will be screening of the original film Swallows and Amazons in which Sophie played the lead part of Titty Walker when she was a girl. The film will start at 2pm.

Sophie will be giving a demonstration of how one of the visual effects was achieved, answering questions and signing copies of her book on how the film was made.
