Spring Bible Week
As part of Keswick Ministries' year-round work, we organise a number of Bible Weeks at our Convention Centre in Keswick. An excellent opportunity to spend a week in the beautiful Lake District listening to God's Word being taught.
4-8 April 2011: Speaker - Derek Burnside

Derek Burnside is on the staff and Leadership Team at Belmont Chapel in Exeter, where his duties include bible teaching and oversight of the small group network. He is married to Penny, a primary school headteacher. They have no children of their own, but do have 6 godchildren and a cat called Max. In addition to his work at Belmont Derek teaches at four of Torchbearer's European Bible Schools and is on the Councils of the Evangelical Alliance and Partnership UK, the network of British churches from Brethren backgrounds. Before any of that he taught RE in a large comprehensive school and was a UCCF staff worker. When not doing any of the above Derek is most likely to found reading a book, watching a film or riding a bike. |
